Women Coalition Organizes Symbolic Rabaa Martyrs Anniversary Rally

Women Coalition Organizes Symbolic Rabaa Martyrs Anniversary Rally
The Revolutionary Coalition of Egyptian Women organized a symbolic rally Tuesday at the graves of the martyrs of the genocide tragedy in Rabaa Al-Adaweya Square, as part of a whole week of peaceful protest activities to mark the first anniversary of the horrid massacres committed in cold-blood by military coup authorities against civilians in peaceful protester sit-ins in Rabaa and Nahda squares on August 14, 2013.

A number of martyrs’ mothers gave short but emotional speeches that inflamed the feelings of everyone. They pledged to complete the Revolution until retribution is fully exacted for all the martyrs and until all the rights for which the blood of their martyred children was spilt are wrested from the murderous repressive junta.

Along with the martyrs’ mothers, Revolutionary Coalition members attending the rally were: Thanaa Abdel-Gawwad, the mother of the martyr Asmaa Beltagy; and Mona Mustafa, the mother of the martyr Mohamed Abdel-Basset; as well as the mother of the martyr Omar El-Desouki.
