Anti-Coup Demonstrations in Cairo, Provinces Show Solidarity for Gaza

Demonstrations flooded the streets of the capital and governorates of Egypt for the third week running to denounce the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Demonstrators chanted slogans against the Zionist entity, and burned the Zionist flag, denouncing the treasonous coup government in Egypt for its support of the Zionists and for tightening the siege on the Palestinian people which included closing the Rafah crossing and refusing to let through even the sick and injured seeking urgent treatment.

Protesters raised banners saluting the Palestinian resistance, demanding the release of detainees in coup jails and condemning exorbitant price hikes and worsening living conditions across Egypt.

The demonstrations are part of the "Martyrs Day" week of peaceful protests called by the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance in preparation for powerful peaceful protests in the "Retribution Revolt" on August 14, the anniversary of the most horrid massacres in Egypt’s history.
