Pro-Democracy National Alliance Hails New Revolutionary Wave

Pro-Democracy National Alliance Hails New Revolutionary Wave

A statement from the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance in Egypt:

To all loyal revolutionary men and women of Egypt…

With the repressive junta’s support-base being eroded, coup commanders and collaborators are getting more and more fearful of the truth coming out. The police continue to sell the army, leaving it to shoulder the responsibility of the horrendous crimes of Ameriya and Mostorod without their "assistance", having been left all alone to bear the blame for the massacres of the century of Rabaa and Nahda sit-ins, while the murderer continues to tailor the state to suit his predilections, gutting the army, fearing what is coming soon.

However, your Revolution remains strong, dignified, imposing as it decisively, firmly holds the rudder of the situation on the ground. So, have no doubt: your steadfastness and your noble struggle will ultimately triumph.

On March 19, 2011, the first call was launched to uphold the will of the people, after decades of fraud, forgery and corruption, but the coup has trampled evident popular will and all the democratic transformation, and is doing its worst to sabotage the path of the Revolution.

On March 19, 2014, our efforts have come together in a new revolutionary wave, restoring the unity of the people, revitalizing their revolutionary strength and steeling their resolve in the face of the coup and counter-revolution, in a fresh wave of escalation of our revolt (from Wednesday, March 19) until April 1 – in all parts of the country, raising the flags of Egypt and the slogan "Rabaa Steadfastness".

Our revolutionary wave is progressive and cumulative. So, be innovative and act positively. Do all that you believe will be beneficial to your Revolution, within the context of peaceful creative resistance, and pave the way for ultimate decisiveness, while youths and the student movement lead the way.
