Anti-Coup National Alliance Unites Efforts in ‘People Regain The Revolution’ Friday

The Anti-Coup, Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance follows with great concern and sadness the deteriorating state of political and economic conditions and life in Egypt, as well as the heavy losses the putschists are costing this homeland.

The Alliance further follows the putschists’ tremendous corruption, deviation and destruction as they desperately endeavor to rebuild the defunct ancien régime with all its corrupt officials, traitorous institutions, tools of repression and shameful behavior.

And while the putschists prosecute all honorable free and patriotic Egyptians who oppose the coup, arresting and torturing them, bringing all kinds of farcical false charges against them, they release the deposed Mubarak who repressed and brutally ruined the lives of Egyptians for three decades.

The former regime’s corrupt officials have been unleashed to wreak havoc throughout the nation, as every free Egyptian who participated in the January Revolution is targeted for retaliation, with brutal campaigns to discredit all revolutionaries.

Bereft of any sense of logic or honor, the chameleons sowing the seeds of sedition have started to boast about releasing the ousted Mubarak and his cronies, encouraging people to shed blood and kill one another, with deceptive claims and false fatwas that have no basis in the true religion of Islam nor its morals or values, and certainly have nothing to do with democratic process and principles.

Therefore, the Alliance warns those who rush to join or collaborate with the putschists’ regime that they put themselves in the coup’s quagmire and become partners in the crimes that will cause the collapse of the homeland and the nation.

The Alliance has decided to compile a blacklist of all those who place their hands in the hands of putschists still stained with the precious blood of honorable Egyptians. This will be a shameful record remembered in this country’s history, and a basis for accountability, when legitimacy is restored… very soon.

The Alliance can reveal that groups and movements now standing against the military coup include many respectable national symbols from the media, labor, political, revolutionary and professional segments of society and all age groups, especially young people and women of Egypt.

Every day, millions of Egyptians rally peacefully through the hamlets, villages and cities of this homeland. The free peoples of the world also come out in the streets and squares of the largest capitals – evidence of the shame that pursues the putschists and the military coup commanders and collaborators.

Hence, the Alliance calls on all free and honorable revolutionary and patriotic Egyptians to unite and put aside their differences. They must focus on defending the homeland against the fascist military putschists and stand firm in their commitment to safeguard all the gains of the glorious January 25 Revolution.

The Alliance hails Egyptians’ steadfastness and their positive peaceful response at home and abroad, on the first day of the ‘The people lead the Revolution’ week.

The Alliance further calls all Egyptians for daily masses, this week, escalating non-violent civil disobedience, in all ways and forms, to the maximum, to totally paralyze the putschist regime and force them to flee, defeated and disgraced, and so the atmosphere of the January 25 Revolution should prevail on the  ‘People Regain the Revolution’ Friday.
