Freedom and Justice Party Reaches Out for Dialogue with Everyone, for Egypt Rejuvenation

In a statement, Dr. Murad Ali, media adviser to the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), said: "The FJP makes and receives many initiatives and meets with many opposition icons and figures, many of whom welcome such initiatives, responding with warmth and sincerity. The FJP has no objections whatsoever with regard to dialogue in the interest of the nation.

"The FJP prefers that calls to dialogue are made public. However, many opposition parties request that meetings be held in private. The FJP respects these parties’ choices."

Dr. Ali pointed that the recent initiative where Khairat Al-Shater met with Amr Moussa was not the first between the opposition and the FJP.

"The aim of these initiatives is to sit down at the negotiating table to discuss current issues, crises and events in Egypt. The FJP reaches out to all, and will not exclude anyone.

"The FJP rejects any interference or intermediary between citizens of the same homeland and the FJP or the Muslim Brotherhood – not from foreign countries, nor Arab ones. We call on all opposition parties and figures for further dialogue to find solutions in order to achieve for Egypt real renaissance and significant progress."
