FJP Elects Hussein Ibrahim as Head of Parliamentary Majority

The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), announced the appointing of Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim as Chairman of the party’s parliamentary’s bloc deeming him the head of the parliamentary’s majority.


The decision was made during the FJP’s first MPs meeting held Sunday, which was attended by the party’s Chairman Dr. Mohamed Morsi. Other topics addressed included the nomination of Dr. Saad Katatni, the party’s Secretary General as the assembly’s speaker having secured the biggest bloc in parliament. They also discussed the formation of the numerous committees in parliament.
