Bishop Bachomius: January Revolution Revived Spirit of Unity Among Egyptians
Father Bachomius, Bishop of Alexandria, Marsa Matruh, stated that the January 25 revolution succeeded in instilling a new spirit of unity and solidarity under the banner of freedom between Muslims and Christians in Egypt.

Father Bachomius, Bishop of Alexandria, Marsa Matruh, stated that the January 25 revolution succeeded in instilling a new spirit of unity and solidarity  under the banner of freedom between Muslims and Christians in Egypt. He stressed: "It is the responsibility of all Egyptians to protect the revolution and work on safeguarding its achievements".

He added during the celebration of the Prophet's Jesus birth held Friday at the Virgin Mary Cathedral "True democracy meets the demands of all sectors regardless of ideologies and does not adhere to the rule of the majority"

 Dr. Gamal Heshmat from the Freedom and Justice Party's (FJP), Executive Bureau, and Osama Suleiman FJP Secretary General in Beheira and Muslim Brotherhood (MB), leaders attended celebrations.
