IOA banned Azan at Ibrahimi mosque 79 times in September

AL-KHALIL, — The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) banned Azan (call for prayers) at the Ibrahimi mosque in Al-Khalil on 79 occasions in the past month of September.

The IOA claims that the call for prayers "annoys" settlers present in the usurped section of the mosque that was taken from Muslims and given to Jews in flagrant violation of international laws and doctrines that stipulate freedom of worship and safe passage to places of worship.

The IOA systematically pursues policies harassing Muslims and blocking their safe prayers including intensifying military presence and barriers on all main roads and entrances to the mosque.
