The Aqsa Mosque Imam, Sheikh Yusuf Abu Sneinah condemned, during the Friday sermon, Zionists threats against the “Freedom Flotilla” calling for an end to the unjust siege of the Gaza Strip and for Arab and Islamic efforts to achieve this.

Abu Sneinah said that our Arab and Islamic Umma “should pool its efforts to lift the siege imposed on our brothers in the Gaza Strip, as such a siege cannot be endorsed by any religion or heavenly law.”

Addressing the Israeli occupation he said “enough arrogance besieging the Gaza Strip, enough arrogance killing and starving displaced civilians.”

The Sheikh also criticised the German school in Jerusalem, which sacked one of its teachers because, after serving 27 years at the school, she decided to wear the Hijab, calling such a decision by the school’s administration a racist decision.
