Al-Mohammadi: 12 amendments to Health Insurance Law by MB parliamentary bloc

Al-Mohammadi el-Sayed Ahmed, member of the Muslim Brotherhood Parliamentary bloc, stressed that the courts’ overrule of the new health insurance draft law with claims that it contradicts 12 Articles of the Constitution reveals that the government is not keen on protecting the citizens’ well-being.

Al-Mohammadi explained that most free and capitalist systems in the world not only continued to   provide services and health care to its people but also increased the health care services every day. This demonstrates that the West is interested in the well-being of its people. He claimed Egypt should follow the West’s example in understanding the citizens priorities rather than taking interest in their advanced ruling systems.  He pointed out that the Egyptian regime has put other interests over the interests of the poorer classes

The MP has said that the MB Parliamentary bloc has prepared 12 amendments to the draft law stressing the need to change the current law which has negative impacts on citizens instead of keeping the interest of citizens in mind.
