Electronic warfare between the Algerian and Egyptian national teams expands into piracy on the Internet .

An Internet hacker who calls himself “KADER11000 Algerian Hacker” penetrated the website of the Egyptian Presidency, hacking the website of the Egyptian newspaper “Al Ahram” and causing major disruptions, according to “El shorouk” newspaper on Friday.

“This devastating intrusion of the websites of the Egyptian Presidency and the Egyptian newspaper ‘Al Ahram’ was a legitimate act of retaliation to the Egyptian hackers’ uncalled-for attacks against the website of the Algerian newspaper Eshorouk Al Yaoumi”, the newspaper reported.

The Algerian hacker wrote on the front page of the website of the Egyptian presidency after he successfully penetrated and modified its main front, saying “in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful, I’m KADER11000 Algerian hacker [and] I have successfully hacked the websites of the Egyptian newspaper Al Ahram as a response to any violation of the rights of my country and Eshorouk newspaper. Here is the response to the attack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nk4Rd58kwj4,” Eshorouk said.

“This is my gift to them after the second attack against the website of the Algerian newspaper Eshorouk Al Yaoumi I was able to penetrate and destroy the server of the Egyptian presidency and here is the evidence www.presidency.gov.eg.”

Egyptian hackers launched on Tuesday night a cyber attack on the “chat forum” of the Algerian newspaper “Eshorouk Al Yaoumi.” In the context of electronic warfare, which has now become a target for hackers on account of its unwavering and unprofessional support for the Algerian football team (Desert Warriors), the newspaper said in a report published on Friday.

The unwarranted hacking of Eshorouk website triggered an open war between Egyptian and Algerian hackers across the Internet. Dismayed by the dismal performance of their national football team, the embittered Egyptian hackers have ignited this war of nerves via the Internet with the motive of exerting undue pressure to disqualify the Algerian team from participating for the third time in its history in the FIFA World Cup.. Eshorouk newspaper is the exclusive media sponsor of the Algerian national team and it supports and stands behind all the victories achieved by the team so far for the South Africa 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.

The newspaper also revealed that the Algerian hackers attacked the websites of the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production and the Egyptian Ministry of Information. In a warning statement posted on the hacked website, the Egyptian hackers said that the cyber attack on the chat forum of Eshorouk daily “was a telling example for all those who dared challenge and tried to undervalue the Algerian Hackers skills claiming that it is easy to penetrate government websites due to loopholes. There are known loopholes called “IIS” that allow hackers access to the Websites of the Egyptian Ministries”.
