The continued Israeli random air strikes and artillery shelling on Sunday morning, the ninth day of the military aggression on the Gaza Strip, increased the number of Palestinians killed to more than 530 victims including about 100 children.

The Israeli raids also led to the injury of more than 2,500 Palestinian citizens so far.

The IOF troops had committed a "heinous" massacre on Saturday evening when they targeted a mosque packed with dozens of worshipers in Beit Lahia, north Gaza. The bombing resulted in the death of 33 Palestinian citizens and the injury of more than 160 others.

This massacre coincided with intensive aerial attacks, where Israeli warplanes fired dozens of missiles and seismic bombs along the eastern area of Gaza in addition to the Palestinian-Egyptian borders.
