MB Leader Jailed 15 Days, 20 of His Students Questioned

High State Security Prosecution jailed Dr. Mohamed Abdul Aal, a professor at Ain Shams faculty of medicine and Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leader in east Cairo, for 15 days pending investigations in the case of the students of the Agricultural Cooperation Institute in Shubra Al Khaymah .
 
Shubra Al Khaymah prosecution questioned Abdul Aal, on Friday April 13, 2007, along with two others, one of them is a pharmacist who was detained yesterday, Salem Ramadan Abd Rabbo, and the other is Nader Tawfik Mostafa who was arrested hours earlier, on charges of funding Cooperation Institute students to form student cells to revives the ideology of Muslim Brotherhood group in the institute .
 
Large numbers of central security forces cordoned Shubra court, and state security officers denied the detainees lawyer access to the court, triggering an argument between the defence panel and the state security officers, before the chief prosecutor granted the defence team the access.
 
In a related incident, the state security prosecution in Shubra Al Khaymah is currently investigating 20 students detained from the agricultural cooperation institute on the background of the same case,

It is worth mentioning that a number of heavily-armed central security and state security forces raided, on Wednesday at dawn, a flat in Shubra Al Khaymah, in which number of MB guest students are living for studying in the agricultural cooperation institute in Shubra Al Khaymah; the forces searched the flat and destroyed its furniture and detained two students living in it; at the same time, another student who lives in Helwan and studies in the same institute was also detained!!
