Turkish relief committee describes siege imposed on Gaza as “slow execution”

The Turkish committee for relief and humanitarian aid, known in short as “İHH”, issued a report revealing important facts and numbers about the slow execution practiced by Israel against the Gaza people through tightening the siege and committing massacres against them.

In a press symposium in Istanbul, Bulent Yildirim, the head of IHH, read before an audience a statistical report about the size of human suffering taking place in Gaza as a result of the Israeli suffocating siege and ongoing aggression.

According to the report, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation increases every year, either by Israeli military attacks or the siege imposed on them which claimed the lives of more than 100 patients and led many workers to join the ranks of the unemployed as well as decreasing the annual average per capita income to $385.

Yildirim stated that Israel gives priority to its own security and declares that all Palestinians are terrorists, but the numbers and statistical facts reveal who is the oppressed and who is the oppressor and terrorist, where the IOF troops killed 894 Palestinians against 73 Israelis killed by the Palestinian resistance factions during 2005 and 2006.

The head of IHH explained that the Israeli occupation forces kill mostly civilians outside its territory; whereas, the Palestinian fighters kill mostly Israeli soldiers who invade and attack their lands.
