Death threatens life of tens of patients in the European Hospital in Gaza

The life of tens of Palestinian patients in the European Hospital in Gaza is in real danger after power was cut off the entire hospital wards with the exception of the ICU, labs and incubators, the hospital administration announced on Tuesday.

Kamal Abu Mousa, the director of the hospital”s public relations, told PIC correspondent that the power outage was due to the short supply of fuel.

Electricity was cut off afternoon Tuesday and the continued shortage in fuel supplies would lead to a real disaster, he warned.

Abu Mousa said that the electricity cut off would negatively affect the hospital”s health services, noting that most of the wards need medical appliances to extend their services that depend on electricity for functioning.
