The Hamas Movement on Tuesday charged that the Israeli occupation authority"s decision to re-supply fuel to the Gaza electricity station was meant to absorb the Arab, Islamic and international outrage at its stoppage.Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman in Gaza, said in a press release that the IOA fuel supplies did not meet the required needs.

He said that the electricity crisis was still on, other than the fact that none had guaranteed the continued supply of fuel.Abu Zuhri underscored that the main aspect of the Gaza crisis was its siege. For his part, MP Jamal Al-Khudari, who is the head of the popular anti-siege committee, told a press conference that what Israel provided on Tuesday was not enough.

He said that the world should not be deceived into believing that Israel had ended the siege after hearing the announcement that a quantity of fuel was allowed into the Strip.Khudari further noted that a long list of patients, around 1500 persons, were awaiting permits to travel abroad for treatment or else would be added to the 75 victims who fell so far as a result of the siege that left them without medicine and barred their travel.

He championed continuation of Arab, Islamic and international protest rallies to end the siege and starvation of Gaza until life is returned to normal.
