IOF troops kill two Palestinian fighters

Israeli artillery fire and air strikes on the northern and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip killed Saturday night and Sunday at dawn two Palestinian resistance fighters affiliated with the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, and Salahuddin Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees.Qassam sources confirmed Sunday to the PIC reporter that an Israeli ground-to-ground missile was fired by the IOF troops on a group of the Qassam fighters stationed at an advanced point in the Beit Hanun town, northern Gaza Strip, at a late hour Saturday that killed a Qassam fighter called Ahmed Abu Odeh and injured two others.


Medical and local sources told the PIC reporter that the Israeli warplanes fired one rocket at least on a group of Palestinian resistance fighters stationed near the Wafa hospital in the east of the Shujaia neighborhood in eastern Gaza, at dawn Sunday which led to the death of Mahmoud Al-Rab”aee, 35, one of Salahuddin fighters and the injury of four others.PIC reporter said that the Israeli warplanes are still flying and breaking sound barriers over the Gaza sky on Sunday morning.In retaliation to the Israeli aggressions on the Gaza Strip, the Qassam fighters managed Saturday to fire 33 mortar shells in batches on separate gatherings of IOF troops stationed around eastern Gaza Strip.


In the context of retaliations, Salahuddin Brigades claimed responsibility, in a communiqué received by the PIC, for firing eight homemade rockets Saturday on the Israeli Sderot settlement outpost that resulted in the injury of eight Zionist settlers and the spread of state of shock amongst other settlers.For their part, Hebrew media outlets admitted that eight Israelis were injured, others suffered shock and a number of cars were damaged after homemade rockets fired by Palestinian resistance fighters fell in the center of Sderot settlement.
