Final Tale: 19 MB Candidates To Run For Shura Elections
19 Muslim Brotherhood candidates will run for the Shura council elections scheduled to be held Jane, 11th 2007, according to the final lists declared on Tuesday evening. The higher election committee holds a meeting on Tuesday evening to officially declare the final lists in addition to the preparations to be carried in the elections of the Shura council, upper chamber of parliament, The MB candidates, from 14 governorates, will run in 18 constituencies
The lists include also names accepted by the election committees in addition to names that received court rulings to include them in the lists. However, there are still lawsuits which haven’t received any court ruling yet in Alexandria and Monofiya
.The candidates have already received their election symbols and started today their official campaigns. The MB candidates run for the election in a seat in 17 constituencies while two MB run for the two seats in the constituency of El Borolos, Al Hamul, Bella and Riyadh. 13 out of the 19 MB candidates are professionals, while the other six are workers and farmers.
